Carisoprodol during Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

There are no significant studies for the use of Carisoprodol among pregnant women. The effects of Carisoprodol on the newborn of lactating mothers are unknown. Generally, anything consumed by a lactating mother stays in breast milk. So, if a breastfeeding mother takes Carisoprodol, there are high chances that its molecules can transmit to the infant via breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking any drug during the lactation period.

If you are on a high dose and want to stop the medications, do not suddenly stop taking the drug without the doctor’s interruption. Similarly, if you do not observe any improvement in your health condition, check with your doctor to avoid further health issues.
